LeBron James' legendary run with the Lakers has officially come to an end, and now the biggest story in basketball is his reported move toward joining Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. After eight seasons in Los Angeles, including the 2020 NBA championship and becoming the NBA's all-time leading scorer, LeBron informed the Lakers he will play elsewhere for his record-setting 24th season, while the Warriors are preparing an aggressive pursuit to pair him with Curry and Draymond Green. Although a deal is not yet official, the possibility of LeBron and Steph finally becoming full-time teammates has taken over the NBA world after years of battling in four straight NBA Finals from 2015-2018 before winning Olympic gold together with Team USA in Paris, where their chemistry was on full display. Curry and LeBron have repeatedly praised each other's greatness over the years, and Warriors coach Steve Kerr also coached both superstars during Team USA's gold-medal run. If Golden State lands LeBron, it would unite two of the greatest players in NBA history after more than a decade of unforgettable rivalry, creating one of the most anticipated superteams the league has ever seen.
