OHL Fight - Jamieson Rees (SAR) vs Kade Landry (HAM) 27Jan19
After delivering a clean check to Hamilton's Avery Hayes, Sarnia's Jamieson Rees was jumped by Kade Landry. Landry was trying to send a message, but Rees sent one right back to him. Rees was given 5 for Fighting. Landry got 2 for Instigating, 5 for fighting and 10 for Misconduct-Instigating. The Sting won the game 8-4 The end was interrupted when a spectator walked in front of me

Shootout Round 3 Adam Boqvist (London Knights) vs Ethan Langevin (Sarnia Sting). Langevin stopped all 3 shots in his 1st OHL shootout. Hugo Leufvenius scored for Sarnia in the shootout
Hockey, LaSalle Vipers
LaSalle Vipers beat Sarnia 5-3 and moved into a tie with the Legionnaires for 4th in the GOJHL. The Vipers have four wins and a tie in their last five games. Newcomer Jackson Bernard made 25 saves in net and is 3-0 since joining the Vipers.
OHL Saginaw Spirit "Fanboni"
Ontario Hockey League's Saginaw Spirit - Fans ride the Spirit's Fanboni during the 1st intermission of their Nov 29 2016 game vs the Sarnia Sting. The Fanboni is a non-functioning ice resurfacing machine modified to allow passengers to ride around the ice before the game and during intermissions. One suggestion to the Spirit: Mix up the music a little bit, please. The same song played during all 3 appearances on the ice.
