It circles the Mont Blanc massif, covering a distance of roughly 170 kilometres (110 mi) with 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) of ascent/descent and passes through parts of Switzerland, Italy and France. Traditionally the TMB is walked Anti-clockwise Starting and finishing in Les Houches ( France). Les périodes froides resteront bien temporaires. Février 2019 Poursuite du temps de janvier, persistance du courant de nord-ouest. Les perturbations vont se succéder dans un rythme bien fort, l'enneigement à sera vraiment important. Mars 2019 Premier mois du printemps dans un temps vraiment perturbé, instable. Succession de périodes froides avec neige à basse altitude, de périodes plus douces qui feront du bien. Avril 2019 D'un seul coup, il va faire chaud dans un temps ensoleillé quasiment estival. Mai 2019 Il continuera de faire beau et chaud mais l'instabilité orageuses deviendra fréquente. Juin 2019 souvent de la pluie avec des températures fraîches. Juillet 2019 des périodes de temps chaud et ensoleillé mais des orages. Août 2019 des coups de chaleur mais sans plus.
