Zavisnost od kockanja je mnogo veći problem u Srbiji nego što većina misli. Danas se u klinikama i udruženjima za odvikavanje od bolesti zavisnosti, nalaze većinom kockari, dok oni koji imaju problem sa narkoticima predstavljaju manjinu. Sa druge strane, čini se da je nikad više kladionica, u svim gradovima niču na svakom koraku, reklamiraju ih najpopularnije ličnosti u regionu, zauzimaju bilborde na ekskluzivnim mestima, rade 24 časa dnevno i imaju svetleće reklame koje mame čak i one nedovoljno stare da shvate šta se tu dešava. Ekipa portala 24sedam razgovarala je sa Aleksandrom Radovcem, zavisnikom od kocke koji je rešio da izađe u javnost i otvoreno priča o svom problemu, kako bi možda nekoga spasio. “Imam 42 godine, od toga 15 godina iskustva u patološkoj kocki, to znači da sam jedan veliki deo života proveo u tome i o tome sad pričam na Tiktoku i pokušavam da dođem do što više ljudi da doprem i da im objasnim da je to nešto u šta ne bi trebalo uopšte da ulaze”, rekao je u emisiji “24sedam sa Marom”. Aleksandar živi u Novom Sadu, završio je fakultet, našao dobar posao i svojevremeno se činilo ima sve šanse za srećan i bezbrižan život. Međutim, sa 28 godina odlazi da radi na prekookeanskom brodu i tamo prvi put gleda kockanje, jer mu je bilo zaduženje da opslužuje jedno poker takmičenje koje se tu održavalo. Kao zaposlenom, bilo mu je zabranjeno da se kocka na brodu, ali se zainteresovao i kada se vratio u Srbiju, prvo je na Fejsbuku igrao Texas Holdem poker igricu, a onda je otišao u kladionicu. Od tad ima problem. “S obzirom da imam predispoziciju za kocku, to nisam znao, jednostavno to sam posle kroz puno videa i puno radova postoji na internetu, kakve su hemijske reakcije u mozgu, ko je predisponiran, ko nije, kako se razvija ta bolest, jer to jeste bolest, uglavnom ja sam kroz dva-tri meseca bio toliko u tome da od tad nisam uspeo da se izvučem, imao sam neke periode da uspem da ne igram, pa se vratim i svaki put bude sve gore”, kaže voditeljki Mariji Atanasković. Aleksandar smatra da su čak i te, naizgled bezazlene, online igrice takođe put u propast, jer posle toliko godina zavisnosti, zaključuje da ne postoji ništa bezazleno u vezi sa klađenjem. Do sada je na kocki izgubio između 300.000 i 400.000 evra. Započinao je bezbroj poslova koji su čak i bili uspešni, jer je veoma kreativan, ali bi svakako svu zaradu trošio u kladionici. Kaže da je u najgoroj fazi zavisnosti onaj ko u kladionicu ide sam, a tako sve više viđa žene. Uspevao je nekoliko puta da “bude čist” i po godinu i više dana, ali je problem što ukoliko mu se desi neki stres, problem, to bude okirač da se vrati kocki, jer ona predstavlja beg od stvarnosti. “Recimo ja kad sam raskinuo sa devojkom 2013. ostao sam bez posla, nisam razgovarao sa roditeljima, bio sam dužan pare, znači ja sam bio jedan beznadežan slučaj, ja sam došao ovde u grad pošto su najavili da će biti -20, a živeo sam u selu u nekoj kući bez grejanja i sad ja moram da bežim, da nadjem neko sklonište, odem na pijacu kupim čokolade, počnem da prodajem čokolade po kafićima, -20 nema nigde nikog u gradu, samo konobari sede po kafićima praznim, niko ne izlazi, ja prodajem čokolade, ulazim sa kutijom milke oni me pitaju šta radiš ti, prodajem čokolade, pa je l’ ti nije hladno, pa nije mi hladno, šetam. Onda su oni tako počeli da kupuju čokolade. U suštini meni te čokolade su opet bile neki vid utehe, da sam sa ljudima, da sam u drugom ambijentu da nisam zarobljen tim mislima, nemaš nikakvu nadu, nikakva očekivanja sve ti je propalo, medjutim onda izloženost tome da svaki dan prodješ pored 25 kockarnica koje su tad počele da niču na svakom koraku, to je ono što ljudi ne opravdavaju kockare misle da ti glumiš mangupa, svaka stvar koja utiče na tebe tako ti automatski ideš tamo, ne možeš da se odupreš.” Ceo intervju sa Aleksandrom Radovcem možete pogledate u novoj epizodi emisije “24sedam sa Marom”. Rugby Referee Analysis: Ben O'Keeffe | Springboks vs Australia 2023
I'll start by saying that overall I thought the officiating was good. In general I think Ben O'Keeffe is a good ref, and what I like the most about him is the fact that he is one of the very refs that will publicly admit if he made a mistake and then he'll discuss his decision making in making that mistake. He's not like most refs, who hide behind closed doors and play the whole "refs are human" excuse card. Now, Ben did have a shocker in the Super Rugby final, I don't think anybody can deny that, but he got attacked on social media by fans and they attacked him with personal stuff. I'm all for if he criticizing a ref for his officiating that happened on the field, but that gives nobody the right to attack a ref on his personal life, people who do that are stupid, there's no other way to say it. I just wanted to make that clear because it's childish and stupid to attack a ref on social media with stuff that is absolutely nothing related to his performance. If you want to criticize the ref, keep your criticism about his officiating. No that I got that out of the way, in this game my issues were more with the AR's at scrum time and then the TMO also missed a few stuff. There was a few mistakes from Ben O'Keeffe himself, but that's going to happen in rugby. The first part I show some foul play from Marika Koroibete, who made 2 questionable tackles. Now he has shown he has a history of this where he does not use arms and just dives shoulder first into a ball carrier. 2 of them were not even checked by the TMO, then on the 2nd one as well, we have Willie le Roux going into the face of the ref and trying to milk a yellow card from the ref. Now I do think the tackle should be checked, but the way Willie le Roux acted there was unacceptable, and also has a history of this. This is classic Johny Sexton behaviors where a player is milking the situation. I hate that and feel like it should be stopped. I honestly wouldn't mind if the penalty got overturned and Willie got penalized. Not to mention the SA Broadcaster who is trying to show the replay multiple times without the ref going to the TMO, which indicates they're trying to force the ref to use the TMO. Which is another thing I hate, the broadcaster should not play the role of TMO, the TMO should check it on his own. Then there also was a tackle by Pieter Steph du Toit, when I saw it life I thought it was going to be checked by the TMO because PSDT just dived into the head of a ball carrier with his shoulder. It was reckless. This happened fast, so I can understand the ref missing it, but the TMO should help him there. Then there were the scrums that I thought was poorly handled by Ben as well as his AR's. But mostly his AR's as in most cases he was on the other side of the scrum where it collapsed, and the AR had clear vision of it, but never told him. Which led to scrums being reset, that should've been penalties to SA. I also wasn't a fan of Ben not rewarding SA for a dominant scrum. He was inconsistent the whole time at scrum. He keeps telling SA to use the ball, when the scrum was collapsed by Australia before the ball was available. Then on other cases he'll reward the penalty. It was just inconsistent at scrum time. But like I said, if we look at the full game overall, I think he had a good game. But was not a fan of the AR's, who were - Paul Williams (NZR), Andrea Piardi (FIR), as well as the TMO who was, Brendon Pickerill (NZR).
