Mario Chalmers is officially BACK! The Miami Heat are once again NBA championship favorites as they reunite with their former two time champion starting point guard. In all seriousness though, it’s really awesome that the Miami Heat get to have Rio back.Those Big Three days were some of the most fun moments of my life and Mario Chalmers was a big part of that. Hopefully he can make LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Coach Erik Spoelstra proud. Cause if not, Udonis Haslem and Jimmy Butler are still hear to yell at him. Mario Chalmers was signed to a 10-day hardship deal. Unfortunately the Miami Heat are on a roadtrip now so the only way he will get to play at FTX Arena (formerly American Airlines Arena) is if he signs a second 10-day contract. Kyle Lowry is expected back for friday's game vs the Houston Rockets so we'll see how much playing time Chalmers gets if any. He will have to share the backcourt with Tyler Herro, Kyle Lowry, Duncan Robinson, Gabe Vincent, and new addition Kyle Guy if all healthy. New England Patriots lose control of AFC East with 33-21 loss to Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen

Udonis Haslem made this a very Merry Christmas Heat Nation! In this video I talk about the wins vs with Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons, and also talk about the Christmas Day game in 2014 when LeBron James returned to Miami to play the Heat for the first time since returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Dwyane Wade vs LeBron James battle that day was one for the ages.. But this week Miami blew out the Pacers and tied a franchise record hitting 22 threes. It was all Miami in this one as the Pacers stars, Malcom Brogdon, Myles Turner, Caris Levert, and Domantas Sabonis basically did nothing. Well Sabonis did get absolutely dunked on by Omer Yurtseven which was cool. Kyle Lowry, Max Strus Daddy, Tyler Herro, and Duncan Robinson all balled out in this one. Even KZ Okpala had a career night too. The Detroit Pistons was a much tougher game and would come down to Tyler Herro, Max Strus Daddy, and Kyle Lowry all hitting big shots late. With Cade Cunningham, Isaiah Stewart, Jerami Grant and most of the Pistons out with either COVID or injury, Corey Joseph, Frank Jackson, and Trey Lyles stepped up big for them. The Miami Heat don't play on Christmas Day unfortunately. This slate for today is, Atlanta Hawks vs New York Knicks, Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns, Brooklyn Nets vs Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks vs Utah Jazz. The Aztecs returned "home" for the last game and most important game of the 2021 season...a grudge match vs Boise State. The two programs have often been referred to as the flagship programs of the Mountain West Conference. But while every other team struggles against the Broncos, only SDSU has been toe to toe, even at 3 games a piece, against Boise State. In Basketball however it's not even close as the Aztecs dominate easily. This CBS Nationally televised game was crucial for the Aztecs. Win and they are in—the football Championship game—and they did just that. After a slow first two quarters the Aztecs offense got hot with QB Jordon Brookshire coming in just before the half. And the rest of the game, the heralded San Diego State defense overwhelmed the Broncos. The Aztecs win 27-16, scoring 24 unanswered points and now will host Utah State Dec 4 for the Championship.
