RECRUITING RUNDOWN: Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame & Indiana BATTLE For Midwest DOMINANCE

Big Ten power shifts as Ohio State faces pressure with Brian Hartline gone, while Indiana shakes up the recruiting landscape by winning a national title with fewer than ten 4-star recruits. Can the Buckeyes maintain elite wide receiver dominance and outpace Michigan and Notre Dame within Chicago and Midwest recruiting wars? Kyle Whittingham’s arrival in Ann Arbor sparks debate: Will Michigan close the talent gap and secure quarterbacks like Kamden Lopati for its future, or does Marcus Freeman and the Irish steal him away from the Wolverines and the Illini? Brian Smith delivers expert insights on Midwest recruiting battles, spotlighting Notre Dame’s push in warm-weather states, Penn State’s urgent need for in-state recruiting dominance and an elite quarterback, and Wisconsin’s efforts to leverage new NIL opportunities. Key offensive line and defensive line recruits take center stage–with quarterback recruiting continuing to be a major theme. With rising challenges for Iowa and Louisville, the Midwest playoff picture is anything but settled. Who will emerge as the recruiting king?
