Marco Belinelli (17 points) Highlights vs. Phoenix Suns
Nine of the last 10 regular-season meetings between the Mavericks and Spurs have been decided by seven points or less and tonight the trend continued. Dallas got off to a quick 23-4 start but slowly lost it's lead, eventually falling to San Antonio 105-101 in the American Airlines Center. Luka Doncic led all scorers in the game with 25 points. This is his 5th straight game with at least 25 points, the last rookie to do that was Stephen Curry 10 years ago. Doncic also had 8 rebounds and 8 assists on the night. Harrison Barnes, who is averaging 18.2 points per game, struggled to shoot the ball, finishing 4 of 18 for 11 points. The Mavericks (20-24) were without point guard Dennis Smith Jr. tonight due to illness and JJ Barea who ruptured his right achilles and will be out the rest of the season. The Spurs bench players came up big tonight, as they combined for 51 points to help San Antonio (26-20) to the win. Leading them was Marco Belinelli with 17 points. Up next for the Mavericks is a trip to Indiana, where they will look to win their 4th straight game against the Pacers on Saturday night.

Rachel Nichols of The Jump details the struggles of the Philadelphia 76ers early in the 2018-19 NBA season, with Joel Embiid starring but Ben Simmons still struggling with his jumper and Markelle Fultz not living up to his No. 1 draft pick slot, before winning an impressive road game vs. the Indiana Pacers. Tracy McGrady and Paul Pierce then discuss whether this was a turning point for Brett Brown's group, with Dario Saric playing particularly well but now without Marco Belinelli and Ersan Ilyasova. ✔ Subscribe to ESPN on YouTube: http://es.pn/SUBSCRIBEtoYOUTUBE ✔ Subscribe to ESPN FC on YouTube: http://bit.ly/SUBSCRIBEtoESPNFC ✔ Subscribe to NBA on ESPN on YouTube: http://bit.ly/SUBSCRIBEtoNBAonESPN ✔ Watch ESPN on YouTube TV: http://es.pn/YouTubeTV ESPN on Social Media: ► Follow on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/espn ► Like on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/espn ► Follow on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/espn Visit ESPN on YouTube to get up-to-the-minute sports news coverage, scores, highlights and commentary for NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA, College Football, NCAA Basketball, soccer and more. The Jump's Jorge Sedano and Frank Isola react to Ben Simmons' comments about how he, Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers need to get past the Boston Celtics, mentioning that shooters Ersan Ilyasova and Marco Belinelli are gone and the NBA potential of Markelle Fultz is still in question. Sedano and Isola also mention the Toronto Raptors, with Kawhi Leonard in town, and the Milwaukee Bucks (led by Giannis Antetokounmpo) as potential stumbling blocks for the Sixers in the Eastern Conference in 2018/19.
