Big Ten QB Rankings
Bring on the hate. I already know people are going to be upset with a couple of these. Who’s too high? Who’s too low? Who is just right? Dante Moore and Jayden Maiava are easily the best 2 QBs in the Big 10. Some would even argue in the country. Some people may argue that Julian Sayin is the best QB in the Big 10. I think he just has the best weapon. I think Demond Williams has a chance to finish as the best QB. Last year it felt like he disappeared against defenses with a pulse. Let’s see if he can take that next step this year. This is one might get some hate. I think Drake Lindsey is a top 5 QB in the Big Ten. I think last year we saw a few glimpses of how great he could be. Josh Hoover turn the ball over a little too much to be top 5. Maybe that drops now that he’s on a better team. Time will tell. Rocco Becht is a good QB, not a great QB. He’s not a Quarterback that is going to elevate the offense, but give him some solid weapons and he will thrive. Malik Washington didn’t get enough love last season. A lot of that has to do with his receivers failing to hold onto the ball, and he was on a bad Maryland team. Nico Iamaleava was one bright spot on a pretty bad UCLA team. Hopefully with a new coaching staff we see him take a significant jump. Let’s see if Katin Houser can make that jump back into the Big Ten after a good season at ECU. I think he’ll be fine. Not great. I cannot wait for the Anthony Colandrea experience at Nebraska. There’s gonna be a lot of ups and downs. It’ll be fun to watch. This is the one that could potentially make me look dumb. I wasn’t impressed with Underwood’s first season, but some of it wasn’t his fault. A new coaching staff and potentially better weapons might change my mind. Lonergan was one of the few bright spots on a bad Boston College team. I’m sure he’ll be fine for Rutgers. Colton Joseph is dangerous with his legs, and he’s probably going to give the Gophers problems. He is not the greatest passer though, and that will be his downfall in the Big Ten this year. Alessio Milivojevic played really well after he took over as the starter. Maybe I’m not being fair, but it’s only been 4 games. Aidan Chiles is too up and down with too many turnovers. Maybe Chip Kelly can bring some consistency to his game. Peace and love to Ryan Browne, but he’s never done anything to show me that he belongs any higher in the rankings. In his defense, he does play for Purdue. Idk who Iowa’s QB is going to be. I don’t think it matters. http://fanatics.93n6tx.net/DVODYG This video, West Virginia Fan Reacts to Loss to Minnesota | Guaranteed Rate Bowl Review, is my reaction video to the West Virginia Mountaineers’ 18-6 loss to the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl on December 28, 2021. I will talk about the Mountaineers’ performance in all three phases of the game, as well as the coaching staff’s performance. I will also give my thoughts on my expectations for the 2022 season. The West Virginia Mountaineers played the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the 2021 Guaranteed Rate Bowl. It was the first ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron, and the Gophers came out the victors to finish the season with a record of 9-4. The Mountaineers finish the season with a record of 6-7. West Virginia’s offense struggled mightily against the stout Minnesota defense, which was top 10 in the country in several categories. Minnesota’s big & talented offensive line also created holes for running backs Ky Thomas & “Bucky” Irving, who each had over 100 yards on the ground. Despite this, West Virginia’s defense played well enough to win. They forced two turnovers & held the Gophers under their season scoring average. However, they did not get enough help from the offense or special teams to get a victory. The best statistical performers for West Virginia were on the defensive side of the ball. Dante Stills had 4 tackles, a sack and 2 tackles for loss. Defensive back Charles Woods had an interception and a fumble recovery. The much-maligned quarterback, Jarret Doege, had a rough game. He completed 18 of 31 passes for 140 yards and 1 interception.
