Afghanistan's debut in the world of cricket was because of Pakistan and the same Afghanistan defeated Pakistan in the One Day World Cup! In the 1990s, millions of Afghan refugees took refuge in Pakistan due to the fear of Taliban, then many Afghan players were trained to play cricket in Pakistan. Afghan player Rashid Khan was also included in these players, he had learned to play cricket after becoming a refugee in Pakistan. But Pakistan would never have thought that they would have to face a shameful defeat in the One Day World Cup against Afghanistan. And to add insult to injury, Afghan player Ibrahim Zadran won the man of the match award. Dedicated the title to the millions of Afghan refugees whom Pakistan had asked to return to Afghanistan by 1 November.
