1960 French Rugby Championship Final (Championnat de France de rugby) FC Loudres vs AS Beizers

Before the days of the Top 14, the French Championship was structured in this way: pool stages, Last 32, Last 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals. After the pool stage, the top 4 teams from each group move on to the Round of 32 which is a knockout stage. The rounds after the Round of 32 are knockout stages too. The powerhouses of French rugby during that time were not Toulon nor Toulouse, it is powers such as Beziers, Lourdes, Montois, Dax, Montauban, etc. Toulon were one of the top French sides at this time but not as good as Lourdes and Beziers. Back in those days, towns play mostly squads from villages not cities every week I think.
