Olympiacos takes thrilling win in Bologna! | Round 19, Highlights | Turkish Airlines EuroLeague
In a thriller that came down to the final second, Olympiacos Piraeus returned to winning ways by edging Virtus Segafredo Bologna 83-85 on the road in Round 19 on Thursday. Olympiacos improved to 12-7 in the standings and is one win outside of first place. Virtus dropped to 8-11 after registering back-to-back home losses this week. Eurocup: Virtus Bologna-Bursaspor 80-67 - UN INCREDIBILE TEODOSIC REGALA L’EUROLEGA A SCARIOLO!!
Missione compiuta per la Virtus Bologna: batte 80-67 il Bursaspor alla Segafredo Arena, è la prima italiana a vincere l'Eurocup e stacca il pass per l'Eurolega 2022-23. La squadra di Scariolo viene trascinata da Milos Teodosic, 21 punti ed MVP della finale, e da Weems e Jaiteh, 13 punti a testa, sono 12 per capitan Belinelli. La vittoria dell'Eurocup e la conquista del pass per l'Eurolega 2022-23 è la chiusura di un cerchio iniziato nel 2017 con la Virtus Bologna in A2 e presa in mano dal patron Massimo Zanetti. La Virtus Segafredo Bologna deve sudare fino alla fine per battere 83-77 il ratiopharm Ulm e conquistare la semifinale. Decisiva la prova mostruosa di Mam Jaiteh, 27 punti e 11 rimbalzi, il trascinatore dei bianconeri in una serata da 2 su 24 da tre. 1° quarto - Tarczewski comincia male con due falli in 35 secondi. Arrivano due falli consecutivi dei bolognesi in altri 20". Melli trova lo spazio per sparare la tripla 0-3. Hackett per i primi due della Virtus, risponde ancora Melli. Weems schiaccia in contropiede per una Segafredo che vuole correre e Jaiteh sorpassa da rimbalzo d'attacco 6-5 con 6'59". Cinque punti di fila di Hall e Hines firmano il break degli ospiti (6-12). Jaiteh accorcia, ma Hackett manda ai liberi 1/2: al 5' 8-13. Dopo il canestro di Cordinier entra Teodosic che pareggia con una tripla 13-13 con 3' sul cronometro. Rientra Tarczewski e in un amen commette il suo terzo fallo, con Weems in lunetta 2/2 e sorpasso con 3'19".
