CROATIA Road Trip from Split to Zadar CROATIA- Pit stop: Krka National Park, Primosten beach & Trogir We decided to hire a car and take a road trip from Split to Zadar and check out the coast line of Croatia. Driving along the coast line was amazing and highly recommended. The back drop from Split to Zadar was absolutely gorgeous and driving through it was so beautiful! What made it even more breathtaking was the sun setting behind the mountains. While driving to Zadar, we stopped by Trogir which was a little town recommended by our uber lady. She was quite surprised we never heard of it and really encouraged to go. SO glad we did because it was such a beautiful town surrounded by these gorgeous turquoise water. After that,we went to Primosten beach we found as we wanted to stop along and have a swim. This was also another beautiful pit stop. Our last pit stop was KRKA national park. One of the main reasons why we went to Zadar was to see this amazing water fall. We got there a bit after 4pm and we were able to swim at the base of the waterfall. I think this was a great time to go as the sun was still out but everyone was going home. Croatia // July 2017: Part One (Split & Trogir)
After spending some time in Bosnia, we continued our two-week trip by making our way to Croatia. Having been a couple times before, we were anxious to get back the beautiful country. From Mostar, we took a bus to our first desintation—Split. While in Split, we wandered around the old town, enjoyed some time by the sea, and took a day trip out to Trogir.
