Les 3 dernières étapes commenceront alors par une journée de montagne imprévisible d'Abbiategrasso à Valsesia, qui pourrait convenir à la fois aux artistes échappés et aux favoris du CG. 🔥 EGAN BERNAL hoy destroza el GIRO DE ITALIA 2021 en el 🏔 Zoncolan y es más líder que nunca
Egan Bernal hoy da un paso más por el camino al título del giro de Italia 2021. y destroza el Zoncolan en la etapa 14 siendo mas líder que nunca Demostró ser el más sólido dándole otro golpe a sus más fuertes rivales. Y un ganador de etapa sorpresivo que no estaba en los cálculos de ningún especialista Buen día ciclofanáticos de España y américa. Bienvenidos a la etapa número 14 de este giro de Italia 2021. Llegamos al segundo tercio de carrera y hoy la alta montaña se hace presente para seguir acomodando la clasificación general. La cuál hasta antes de iniciar estaba comandada por El señor Egan Bernal del Ineos grenadiers, escoltado por Aleksandr Vlasov del Astana a 45 segundos y Damiano Caruso a 1:12. Como favoritos para llevarse la fracción estaban los ya mencionados Bernal y Vlasov, junto a los británicos Simon Yates y Hugh Carthy. Todos con aspiraciones para pelear por el título de la carrera. Hoy una de las jornadas decisivas con el ascenso al mítico monte Zoncolan y sus 13 kilómetros al 9 por ciento, con los últimos 3000 metros a una media cercana al 15 por ciento y rampas superiores al 13. Previo a ello se ha tenido que subir otro duro puerto de 10 kilómetros al 10 por ciento que serviría para ir calentando piernas y midiendo sensaciones, en donde el Astana pondría picante a la carrera. No toman la partida los neerlandeses del jumbo visma David Dekker y Dylan Groenewegen. Tampoco lo hace el australiano Jai Hindley actual subcampeón del giro. Y por una caída durante la etapa debe retirarse el francés del cofidis Nicolas Edet. completando así el abandono número 24 en lo que va de competencia. La etapa de 202 kilómetros comenzaba con una fuga de 11 hombres en la que el mejor ubicado en la general era George Bennett del Jumbo visma a 11:21, con el viajaban Bauke Mollema, Nelson Oliveira y Jan Tratnik entre otros. Llegando a tomar una diferencia máxima de hasta 9 minutos con el pelotón. Es Mollema quien se ha encargado de tomar los máximos puntos en los puertos de montaña y con la cosecha obtenida sube parcialmente al tercer puesto en la clasificación de la especialidad por detrás de Geoffrey Bouchard y Egan Bernal. Astana se ha encargado de poner a sus corredores adelante del lote marcando el ritmo durante el ascenso al puerto de Forcella. Tras ellos vienen los ciclistas del Ineos cuidando a su líder Bernal, y luego los hombres del EF. Incidente en carrera que involucra a dos corredores. Ruben Guerreiro y Andrea Pasqualon discuten acaloradamente mientras avanzan por el costado izquierdo de la via. No se sabe cual sea el motivo de la molestia, pero se ve que no son muy amables los cruces de palabras, e incluso se ve a Guerreiro poniendo uno de sus brazos sobre la humanidad del italiano. A 47 de meta Luis león Sánchez aprovecha el descenso del puerto para cortar el grupo y poner nerviosismo a este tramo de carrera. El movimiento resulta en un ataque masivo del Astana con Vlasov, Harold Tejada y Gorka Izaguirre a su rueda. Muy atentos Egan Bernal, Castroviejo y Pello Bilbao se unen a la fiesta. Y atrás los del EF deben empezar a mover la carrera para poder darles alcance. Remco Evenepoel sufre por el envión y se queda en la parte trasera. También ese cambio de ritmo ha logrado recortar momentáneamente la distancia con la fuga a 5 minutos. Ya en el plano se ponen de nuevo en orden las cosas y tras el trabajo del EF los 7 hombres fueron neutralizados. Con el lote reagrupado nuevamente y el regreso de Remco. Comienza la esperada subida al Zoncolan, los fugados han empezado a sentir el rigor de la salvaje ascensión y comienzan a ceder unidades, de los 11 iniciales ahora solo son seis ciclistas los que sobreviven, y la diferencia a 9 kilómetros se ha reducido a casi cinco minutos. Atrás en la pancarta de los 10 kilómetros el Ineos se pone por delante a manejar las acciones. Gianni Moscon y Jhonatan Narváez son los escogidos para tensar las acciones y el trabajo empieza de a poco a seleccionar el grupo. Astana pierde unidades dejando a Vlasov sin compañeros. Adelante Jan Tratnik del Barhain toma la delantera por unos instantes y poco despues se le une Lorenzo Fortunato del Eolo. Giro d'Italia : Étape 14 | Résumé
De l'étape la plus facile à la plus difficile, les coureurs approcheront les Dolomites pour s’atteler au Mont Zoncolan lors de l'étape 14. Cette ascension mythique se montera à la fin d’une étape de 205 km , qui comprend 2 longues ascensions : le Castello di Caneva et Forcella Monte Rest. Ces deux premières ascensions paraissent minimes comparé au Zoncolan, l’un des cols les plus redoutés d’Italie. Les coureurs aborderont le col du côté de Sutrio cette année (plutôt que d’Ovaro comme ils l’ont souvent fait par le passé). La montée reste cependant abrupte, avec une moyenne de 8,5% sur 14,1 kilomètres. Les 3 derniers kilomètres sont les plus atroces avec les fameuses rampes à 27%.. C’est l’étape qui séparera les favoris et mettra vraiment en valeur ceux qui pourraient remporter la course. Giro d'Italia Stage 6 Highlights
In stark contrast to the previous day, there’s barely a flat road in sight on stage 6. Over the 160km-long route from Grotte di Frasassi to Ascoli Piceno the peloton will tackle 3,600m of climbing, the majority of which falls in the first half of the stage. It’s in the latter half, and the mountaintop finish in Ascoli Piceno, where we’ll see fireworks however. The 15.5km-long climb to the line averages 6% but gets steeper and steeper the closer the riders get to the summit. This is our first real chance to see who’s hot and who’s not. Giro d'Italia Stage 3 Highlights
Stage 3 could also end in a bunch finish, although the sprinters will have their work cut out for them on the lumpy run into the line in Canale. Four punchy climbs fall in the final 70km of this stage with the last - an uncategorised ramp up to Guarene - peaking at 15km to go. The breakaway artists and opportunists will be all over this final climb, eager to force a late selection and upset the sprinters.
