Lango Province, last edition’s finalists, are hungry for redemption after falling short in the final hurdle against West Nile. Led by their star boy Allan Okello and emerging talents such as Darius Ojok, Lango has showcased exceptional skill and determination throughout the tournament, including eliminating second and third edition champions Acholi province and West Nile province in the quarter and semi-final respectively, proving themselves as worthy contenders for the title. With their eyes firmly set on victory, they will leave no stone unturned in their quest for glory. On the other hand, Busoga Province enters the final as first-time finalists, eager to etch their names in the annals of FUFA Drum history. Bursting with experienced players such as defenders Isaac Isinde, Shafiq Batambuze, and the fast-rising Isaac Wagoina and Laban Tibiita, Busoga has been the revelation of this year’s tournament, defying the odds and toppling established giants on their path to the final, such as West Nile province in the group stages, Tooro province, as well as Teso.
