Ebusua Dwarfs 0-2 Hearts of Oak - 2017/18 Ghana premier league
Hearts of Oak picked their first win of the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign following their 2-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Thursday. The under-fire Phobians needed to overcome Dwarfs FC hurdle at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium to get their faltering season back on track. However, it was Dwarfs who commenced the match looking more determined. The Crabs kept the ball well and created some half openings but failed to get the initiative as referee Awal Mohammed brought the first half to a close. Hearts came back from half time with the determination of breaking the deadlock as they pressed their opponents from the flanks. The Accra-based giants nearly made their early dominance count but Patrick Razak's attempted dink strike was parried away by goalkeeper Frank Andoh. Razak quickly amended his earlier mistake in the 60th minute after he slotted his low shot beyond the reach of goalkeeper Andoh. Dwarfs did not let the goal the conceded deter them from playing their game as they kept possession neatly. They came close to drawing level through Solomon Gyasi but the attacker fluffed his line as Hearts survived the scare. Despite seeing much of the ball, Dwarfs conceded again against the round of play via Joseph Esso's 77th minute expertly hit strike. The second goal effectively dampened the morale of the visitors as Hearts of Oak mounted more pressure in search of their third goal of the game but to no avail as referee Awal Mohammed brough the whole match to an end. The victory move Hearts of Oak to 7th on the log with 4 points while Dwarfs drop down to 9th with the same number of points as their opponents. Malik Akowuah was adjudged man-of-the-match.
2017 Disney Princess Half Marathon
Here's the "Director's Cut" of my Disney Princess Half Marathon Experience. It's long enough to warrant that moniker. (I may release a shorter version for the Attention Deficient.) On February 26, 2017, I joined more than 21-thousand runDisney fans at Walt Disney World for the 9th annual Princess Half Marathon. This race is defintitely geared toward the "princesses." 18605 Women and 2097 Men, including myself, crossed the finish line. This year's event was themed "Beauty and the Beast" as Disney cross promoted its new family film of the same name. Accordingly, I picked a lot of music from the 1991 animated version for this video. I dressed as Prince Hans from "Frozen." The balmy costume slowed my pace quite a bit but gave me the oppotunity to get a lot of video. It also helped me prove a theroy that those who dress up get noticed much more by the Disney Phtot Pass photographers. I endced up with 45 picturs from the event. This is also the most comprehensive video of any of the races I've finished. I crunched more than 3 hours of video into this 29 minute adventure.. Weston proudly announce their unbeaten home record this season before being taken apart by a City side that are only now showing their full potential. From the outset The Clarets create chances to score but are only able to hit their target once in the first period. The second half was dominated by the visitors who put 3 more past the stunned Weston keeper. Even the flying dwarf sprung up from behind a blade of grass to header home only to be squashed by his celebrating team mates. Towards the end the Weston number 2 spoiled an otherwise clean game with a couple of violent incidents that should have seen him dismissed, but the Ref decided to ignore the rule book and instead booked Ricky Holmes for not taking a punch gracefully. Dodgy filming as we were so far from the pitch in what has to be the best behind goal stand in the league. FT 1-4.
