Hope you guys enjoy these interesting facts about Donovan Mitchell! ▶Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell has one of the brightest futures in the NBA. Some of his highlights from his career are when he won the dunk contest, and when he eliminated the Oklahoma City Thunder in six games in the 2018 playoffs. Utah Jazz fans were extremely upset when Gordon Hayward left them, but Mitchell has made them feel much better. He had a lot of highlights in college. His points per game went up over 100% from his freshman to sophomore year. He became the man at the University of Louisville that everyone could rely on. When he was not sure if he should enter the 2017 NBA Draft, Chris Paul and Paul George convinced him to enter. Chris Paul and Paul George were not the only athletes who had a big impact on his life. His father played in the minor league for the New York Mets and Mitchell hung around a lot of baseball players. His idol was David Wright and he wanted to be just like him. He saw how David Wright treated Mets fans and that is why he is kind to every fan he meets. Mitchell would have been a baseball player if he had not broken his wrist. Fortunately, his life still turned out great. LeBron James is his favorite basketball player and he wears the #45 because of Michael Jordan. Dwayne Wade and Kobe Bryant have given him a lot of advice as well. Even though James Harden just eliminated him from the NBA Playoffs, Mitchell has also received advice from Harden as well. In 2018, there was a lot of debates going on about who should be Rookie of the Year. It was a two-man race between Mitchell and Ben Simmons. Many people thought Simmons should have not won the award because they did not consider him a rookie. Mitchell went viral on the internet when he was seen wearing the definition of the word "rookie" on his sweater. He went viral because this was obviously a shot at Ben Simmons. In the 2018 Playoffs, he eliminated the OKC Thunder and outplayed Russell Westbrook and Paul George. In the 2019 Playoffs, he got eliminated by the Houston Rockets and he really didn't play that well. He was really inefficient and missed a lot of shots. Hopefully next season he will be even better and will be able to lead the Utah Jazz to a deep playoff run. Do you guys think Donovan Mitchell would have made it to the MLB?
