Rovers also had the up hill task of coming from behind with only 10 men on the field. Rovers took the lead through a cracker from Joe Rothwell who created the opportunity as well as scored it midway through the first half. Ivan Toney then leveled from the penalty spot as Captain Darragh Lenihan was sent off for Rovers. Brentford took the lead in the 2nd half as they tried to boss the match via Canos, but Rovers dug deep to find an equaliser as Jacob Davenport leveled with only minutes to spare. Rovers will kick onwards to Bristol City with a selection problem at the back as Lenihan saw red and Wharton was taken off with injury.
