Newcastle United 1 Leeds United 2 Premier League Match Review. The Premier League was back at St James' Park as Newcastle United entertained Leeds United. Unfortunately for the Toon Army their dismal run continues as they went down 2-1. Steve Bruce continued with his 5 at the back system with Hayden playing there again. Manqullio dropped which I found amazing given he'd been OK at Villa. Newcastle United were very poor in the first half but to their credit played much better in the second half, much better pressing and tried to attack Leeds United. However it wasn't to be and the question is will it be back to Bruceball on Saturday when Newcastle United go to Everton in the Premier League.
