Brett Budgell is a prospect for the 2019 NHL Draft and 17 year old is in his 2nd season with the Charlottetown Islanders of the QMJHJL. The St John's Nfld native joined the Islanders at Christmas last season after departing from the USHL. Budgell is currently ranked a C play by NHL Central Scouting but as of November is trneding upward.
