New Zealand beat Bangladesh in Second Test Match in Wellington

New Zealand beat Bangladesh by an innings and 12 runs on fifth day of second test match played in wellington. The first two days of the Test match were a complete washout and at that point only one result looked possible. But New Zealand had different ideas and they finished off the match in 202 overs. New Zealand began day five needing seven wickets, with Bangladesh trailing by 141. It only took the hosts one session, to complete the job, with their left-arm quicks Neil Wagner and Trent Boult leading the way. Wagner was the chief wrecking ball on day five, picking up 5 for 37 in a ten-over spell of typically hostile and accurate short-pitched bowling. Beacuse of poor batting display bangladesh score only 209 in second innnigs. Mahmudullah, Bangladesh captain remains the highest scorer for his team with 67. Ross Taylor who scored a brilliant double century in first innings won the man of the match award.
