Southampton 2 Newcastle United 0 Premier League Review. Newcastle United lost last night by 2 goals to 0 at St Mary's against a very good Southampton side in the Premier League. However, Newcastle United were simply pathetic and unfortunately this video is a big rant about Steve Bruce and how he must go before it's too late. No planning, no tactics, nothing!! We were simply all over the place and let Southampton dictate the game from start to finish. Newcastle United are simply playing some of the worst football I have ever seen and have the worst manager in the Premier League. The players need to take a good hard look at themselves as well but when they are being set up to just survive in the game we stand no chance. Southampton on the other hand went top of the Premier League. Well done to them, they have a great manager, great work ethic and play as a team!!
