They’ve split the two sets there. As for Jeremy Chardy and Tomas Berdych, the latter’s a set away from the second round after winning a third-set tie-break. A mighty performance from France’s Kristina Mladenovic has seen the 12th seed reach the second round at the expense of Pauline Parmentier. Mladenvoic allowed her compatriot only four games.
