The Broncs (7-7) scored their first four runs against Patriots (10-10) starter Michael Scruggs with two outs in each of the first three innings. With two outs in the first, senior Alberto Morales crushed a two-run home run into the Broncs bullpen beyond the left field wall to make it 2-0. With two outs in the second, senior Brandon Roush doubled and junior Evan Mason hit an RBI-single to make it 3-1. With two outs in the third, freshman Victor Garcia Jr. singled, and after sophomore Jacob Huckabay reached on an error, senior Shane Ammon came up with an RBI-single to make it 4-1. Mason led off the fourth with a double and scored on a one-out single by sophomore PSJA alum Bryan Ramirez to make it 5-1. In the sixth, Roush drew a leadoff walked and scored on a one-out RBI-triple by junior Jesus Garcia. Ramirez followed with a sacrifice fly to make it 7-1.
