I’ve been reading a lot about the brain while doing research on EMDR & EFT- the main conclusion I have is that we barely know anything about the brain. We’ve shifted to medicating at the expense of other brain research & it’s v scary
I, too, would love my local independent cinema to open after uncertainty after Covid. But unfortunately I’ve developed PTSD after the way I’ve been treated by Tyneside Cinema so all my free time is going to be spent on trauma therapy thanks (@SaveTyneside)
Instead of getting involved in the Rowling ~discourse~ I would really recommend DISCLOSURE: TRANS LIVES ON SCREEN on Netflix as a good intro to contextualise transphobic tropes & stereotypes in cinema + their larger cultural impact.
The only two highlights of ig atm are @burnyourbones Wednesday zine club (which I still haven’t taken part in live!!) @Biblio_Bat’s Mosher Mags 🖤 both bring me so much literal joy!! Might just unfollow everything else soz
