UMBC Retrievers

The UMBC Retrievers represent the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in NCAA Division I athletics. A member of the America East Conference , UMBC sponsors teams in eight men's and nine women's NCAA sanctioned sports.

The Retrievers play their home games at UMBC Stadium, located in Baltimore, Maryland with a capacity of 4,500 spectators.

UMBC made its first Division I postseason appearance in the NCAA tournament in 2008, in which it qualified by winning the America East Conference Tournament.

NJIT Capstone Program

The Capstone Program is a combination of senior-level courses offered to students at the New Jersey Institute of Technology under NJIT’s College of Computing Sciences, which offers the Computer Science, Information Systems, and Information Technology majors. The course can also be taken as an elective by students from other disciplines at the school, such as Management, Engineering, or Architecture.

The NJIT Highlanders, formerly the New Jersey Tech Highlanders, are the varsity sport members of the Division I NCAA-affiliated sports teams of New Jersey Institute of Technology . There are ten men’s teams, seven women’s teams, and three club teams along with a variety of intramural teams.

NJIT Steel Bridge Team

NJIT Steel Bridge Team is a team within the New Jersey Institute of Technology's ASCE chapter). It consists of undergraduate students who are attending at NJIT, majoring in civil engineering, and also members of ASCE. Every year, the team competes against other schools in a steel bridge competition.
