Al Wakrah Stadium

Al Wakrah Stadium is a proposed football stadium which will be built in Al-Wakrah, Qatar, in time for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The stadium was designed by Zaha Hadid and according to the designers, it was inspired by the sails of traditional Dhow boats, used by pearl divers from the region, weaving through currents of the Persian Gulf.
