22 ème journée de Promotion D, le RFC Liège, dépassé la veille par Walhain victorieux en déplacement, recevait Aywaille avec l'occasion de reprendre la tête du classement en cas de victoire. Domination Liégeoise durant l'ensemble du match mais stérile. Aywaille ouvrait la marque contre le cours du jeu mais sur un pénalty indiscutable avant que Liège n'égalise méritoirement sur un pénalty quant à lui très discutable (même si une phase en première période aurait pu valoir un pénalty en faveur de Liège, la balle étant repoussée à deux reprises des bras sur des tirs à bout portant). Liège partage donc la tête du classement avec Walhain.
