Dakar Series

The Dakar Series is an annual series of rally raid off-road races, organised by the Amaury Sport Organisation. The series groups together events similar in style to the Dakar Rally and was founded in 2008 after the cancellation of the 2008 edition of the rally.

The Our Lady of Victories Cathedral or Cathedral of Dakar, is a religious building that serves as the Catholic cathedral in the city of Dakar, the capital of the African country of Senegal, which is the seat of the Archdiocese of Dakar (Latin: Archidioecesis Dakarensis). The sanctuary was built on the site of an ancient Muslim cemetery, whose land was granted by the government to the church.
