Koryo may refer to:

Koryo-saram

Koryo-saram is the name which ethnic Koreans in the post-Soviet states use to refer to themselves. The term is composed of two constituents: "Koryo", which is one of the names of Korea, and "saram", meaning either "person/people".Approximately 500,000 ethnic Koreans reside in the former Soviet Union, primarily in the now-independent states of Central Asia.

Koryo-mar

Koryo-mal, Goryeomal, or Koryŏmal is the dialect of Korean spoken by the Koryo-saram, ethnic Koreans in the former Soviet Union. It is descended from the Hamgyŏng dialect and multiple other varieties of Northeastern Korean.

Goryeo achieved what has been called a "true national unification" by Korean historians as it not only unified the Later Three Kingdoms but also incorporated much of the ruling class of the northern kingdom of Balhae, who had origins in Goguryeo of the earlier Three Kingdoms of Korea.
